Inspiro is het initiatief van Roos Glastra (NL) en Arjunan Manuaelpillai (UK).

Het zal het leidende Europese theater kamp worden gespecialiseerd in het samen brengen van groepen jonge mensen (13-18 jaar). Elk kamp duurt één week, de jongeren krijgen training en onderwijs in de uitvoerende kunsten. De voertaal zal Engels zijn.

Tijdens het Inspiro European Theatre Camp (ETC) zullen uitvoerend kunstenaars van over heel Europa de jongeren workshops geven. Deze zullen toewerken naar een optreden dat live gestreamed zal worden zodat ouders en families dit thuis mee kunnen maken. De Inspiro website zal een hub zijn voor jeugd theaters van over heel Europa om zo hun werk te delen met andere jeugd theaters binnen Europa.

Het Inspiro ETC zal jaarlijks plaats vinden in juni en juli. Het biedt een cursus aan van een week voor 30 jonge mensen per keer.

It will be the leading European Theatre Camp specialising in bringing together groups of young people (age 13-18) for one week at a time giving them training and education in Performing Art. The main language will be English.

In the Inspiro European Theatre Camp (ETC), Performing Art Practitioners from all over Europe will run workshops for the benefit of the youngsters. This will lead up to a performance that will be streamed live in order to be watched by parents and families in their homes. The Inspiro website will act as an on going hub for youth theatres everywhere to share their work with other youth theatres across Europe.

Initially, Inspiro ETC programme will take place annually in June and July, offering a one week course at a time for 30 young people.
